Grace Schwindt : Clean Air, broadcast live from Museum M, Leuven Clean Air is an estranging live performance that investigates how meaning is given to land-scapes. For instance, the Alps are linked with power, purity and cleanness, terms that were also used to describe the German identity in the 1920?s. Two female performers of different generations react to this mental construction with a choreography of dance, folk music, costumes, milk and knitting. The scenery also serves as an unusual installation.
Grace Schwindt (Germany, °1979) lives in London and often works with film and video. in 2012 she had a residency at Wiels, and she collaborates with Antwerp?s Zeno X Gallery.
