Scott Mason: of a final account in formation

Since 2012, Scott Mason has been sonically documenting exhibitions in public galleries and artist-run spaces. These recordings form a unique document of the relationship between architecture and objects. Taking these recordings as objects themselves, the recordings are mixed, layered and conflated, facilitating the potential of exhibitions to become objects that can be curated, and exploring our engagement with the exhibition context.
