In response to Lebek’s solo project ‘Watra’, running from 22 February – 24th of March at the Storefront, two artists perform new audio visual material, using Lebek’s Lemko heritage as a foundation for exploration of language, trauma, history and the transformative power of the female voice.

Serpentine Galleries | The Shape of a Circle in the Mind of a Fish with Plants
Serpentine Galleries present the third instalment of this year-long symposium and research project, presented as part of the General Ecology project. The Shape of a Circle in the Mind of a Fish with Plants brings together scientists, anthropologists, artists and theologians around plant sentience, plant intelligence, communication with the vegetal world and forms of mysticism and healing. Participants include Saelia Aparicio, Antoine Bertin, Vivian Caccuri, Teresa Castro, Amy Hollywood, Kapwani Kiwanga, Natasha Myers, Michael Marder, Tabita Rezaire, Kim Walker, Elvia Wilk and more to be announced. A new commission from Chris Watson will be presented on the night.
