Discussing a body of films made across the last seven years, Aaron Guy scripts his own narrative linking together recurring themes and building to the discussion of his most recent film, One Silver Gas Station (2014) which features in They Used to Call it the Moon, BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art, Gateshead, 31 October 2014 - 11 January 2015.
Commissioned by the North East Contemporary Visual Arts Network (CVAN), this is one of eight films that will be exclusively launched with This Is Tomorrow over the next eight weeks. Taking stock of the increasing national and international recognition that artists based in the North East are attracting, the films profile and celebrate the recent bodies of work and wider practices of the selected artists.
