Film in Space is a group exhibition selected by British artist-filmmaker Guy Sherwin. The exhibition focuses on expanded cinema, a film movement which came to prominence in Britain in the early 1970s, at the time Sherwin started making films.

change in energy = the work Emma Smith from Arnolfini on Vimeo.Emma Smith?s ^E=W (change in energy = the work) begins on Friday 17th January as part of Arnolfini?s 4 Days micro-festival of performance art. This clip looks at ^E=W from the view of the volunteers taking part and Emma Smith?s ideas on the social rationale behind the work. ^E=W lasts until Sunday 20th January, and includes a wide array of activities such as a tai chi class, a dance class, discussions on crysallography and quantum physics, choral performance and voice exercise sessions as well as practical experiments.
